The Kegco KTS97D-W Commercial Grade D System Keg Coupler is compatible with all domestic brand sankey kegs. It has a stainless steel body and probe for maximum durability and cleanliness. This keg tap has a clickable lever handle that easily clicks up and down to engage the keg, making it more convenient than the conventional lever style keg couplers that need to be pulled out before being pushed down. It also features a 55-psi pressure release valve to prevent over pressurizing the keg.

I've used this with my keezer- as the first beer I've dispensed from my taps. It works great, was easy to put on the keg, and with the right adapters for my hose lines everything connected perfectly. Do keep in mind that it comes as shown- meaning if you have 3/8 ID line you'll need different connectors to adapt to your equipment and it doesn't have the adapter at all for the beer out line. Standard shank adapters fit.

Great stainless coupler

Probe is machined stainless, the body looks like cast 316. The handle tilts to ease in catch release. I'm impressed, will be buying more.

I was sold on these based on comments from users and would like to add here as well. I bought 4 of them to replace my old units, while installing 2 new cooler boxes. My old cooler required using a 1/6 barrel, and that necessity was eliminated on the new set-up. I read that these taps would not work with the small diameter kegs but that didn't really concern me as I didn't foresee a need for the little kegs in the future. I forgot about a final 1/6th I had in stock prior to installing the new taps, and it wasn't until I snapped the lever down, tapping this keg that I remembered it shouldn't fit..? Well it does, just fine... better than my old tap that "worked". I later noticed on the boxes they come in it notes "Small handle". I'm not sure if there are options here (didn't recall seeing one) or if this is an upgraded / new design to cure an old symptom, but these from the Beverage Factory do work on sixth barrels... maybe someone else can confirm?

What adapters come with the coupler?

Answer:
On all of our couplers we provide the hex nut and tail piece for the gas side. That is a 5/16th tail piece. The product side of the coupler is open ended. It still is designed for a tailpiece nipple and hex nut assembly attaching to 7/8"-14 Thread Beer Port (U.S. Beer Industry Standard).

Sanke Coupler. Is this coupler for Drop in D or Threaded D or does it not matter for the Sanke keg?

Answer:
The drop in and and thread in is a description of a type of stem that goes into the keg. The Sankey Coupler works with both. It makes no difference to the D Sankey coupler whether the keg is thread in or drop in.

Great catch, we will get the Hose Nipple Attachment upgrade added to this coupler right away. The kit consists of a hexnut, 3/16" hose nipple, and neoprene washer.

Some reviewers indicated that the handle is long and angles downward when engaged, preventing the coupler from functioning with some 1/6 barrel kegs as the handle contacts the keg’s rim. If so, what fully stainless coupler would be recommended as an alternative? Thanks.

This coupler fits standard 1/6 barrel kegs. There is also the KT85D-L.
