Spile - Soft

This Soft Spile is inserted into a shive during the venting process for cask conditioned beer, allowing excess CO2 to be released from the cask through the porous wood. Once the conditioning process has ended, it must be disposed of and replaced with a hard spile to seal the shive and maintain the correct condition.
