Digital Temperature Control

Wide Enough Temperature Range to Dispense or Ferment

Fan-Forced cooling gives this kegerator one of the coldest temperature ranges of any beer cooler on the market today, and can be set as low as 32 degrees to dispense ice cold draft beer. The fan helps to provide even cooling throughout the cabinet.

Large Interior

Store and dispense up to three ball lock Pepsi kegs in the HBK309S-3NK's spacious interior, which can also be used to hold a 6-gallon bucket or carboy during fermentation. You can even use this versatile unit as an all-refrigerator to store food and other beverages!

Deep Chill Function

These keg coolers feature a Deep Chill function that greatly reduces the amount of time you have to wait for a warm beer keg to reach serving temperature. Simply press the Deep Chill button, and the compressor begins working continuously for up to 24 hours to cool your keg to the desired temperature. Press the button a second time, and the unit is returned to its normal operation.*

Converts to a Refrigerator with 2 Shelves

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

For one year from the date of purchase by the original owner, Kegco will, at its option, repair or replace any part of the unit, which proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. During this period Kegco will provide all parts and labor necessary to correct such defects free of charge, so long as the unit has been installed and operated in accordance with the written instructions in this manual. Kegco will provide you with a reasonably similar replacement product that is either new or factory refurbished. In rental or commercial use, the warranty period is 90 days. All Kegco Appliances of 3.5 cubic feet capacity or less must be brought/sent to the appliance service shop for repair.

Parts - 60 Months

LIMITED SECOND THROUGH FIFTH YEAR WARRANTY:

For the second through the fifth year from date of original purchase, Kegco Products will provide a replacement compressor free of charge due to a failure. You are responsible for the service labor and freight charges. In rental or commercial use, the limited compressor warranty is one year and nine months. Cost to move the appliance to the servicers’ shop and back to the user's home, as may be required, are the user's responsibility.

Additional Details

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

Content losses of food or other, due to spoilage.
Incidental or consequential damages.
Parts and labor costs for the following will not be considered as warranty:
- Door springs, and/or frames.
- Inner door panels, door rails and/or door supports.
- Light bulbs and/or plastic housing.
- Plastic cabinet liners.
- Punctured evaporator that voids the warranty on the complete sealed system.
- Repairs performed by unauthorized servicers.
- Shipping and handling costs associated with the replacement of the unit.
- Service calls that do not involve defects in material or workmanship such as customer education, door reversal, or proper installation.
- Surcharges including, but not limited to, any after hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip charges, or mileage expense for service call to remote areas, including the State of Alaska.
- Service calls that are related to external problems, such as abuse, misuse, inadequate electrical power, accidents, fire, floods, or acts of God.
- Replacement of house fuses or resetting circuit breakers.
Failure of the product if it is used for other than its intended purpose.
This warranty does not apply outside the Continental USA.

Small parts not discussed in directions. Kegerator rapidly cools to very cold temperatures. Looking forward to tapping my first beer!

Great Product, great service

Just got my Kegco 309SS set up this weekend for a housewarming party. The cabinet looks great, I upgraded to SS Perlick taps and dual gauge regulator, glad I did both.

BF has fantastic customer service. I think I called them about 6 times while setting it up just to make sure I was doing it all right. Some tips for you.

Casters- Might be obvious to some but I didn't want to screw anything up. The front casters pop through a little paper covering over the hole. The rear ones you can see the machined hole in the back.

CO2- Just a reminder, THIS COMES EMPTY. You will need to fill it before you can use it so plan accordingly if you're having a party the day after it arrives! It's not the easiest thing to get on short notice and many places only swap out tanks rather than refill so you probably don't want to give up a brand new tank for a used one. Got my tank filled at a fountain beverage service company for $18.

Regulator - It says hand tighten and 1/8th turn with a wrench but that wasn't creating a seal for me so I called up customer service thinking there was a leak and they told me to tighten it way up so that did the trick. (they were ready to ship me another one on the spot if that didn't work though)

Unexpected Noise Troubleshoot - I waited the 8 hours to let the refrigerant settle as recommended in the manual before turning it on and when I did there was a noise coming from inside that definitely didn't sound good. At first I thought it was the compressor starting to circulate the refrigerant but it didn't stop after about 15 min so I figured that something was up. It ended up being the interior circulation fan. There are two screws that keep it attached to the back of the unit and its really just a computer tower fan circulating the air. The cord was being pressed into the fan causing the noise so I just tucked it into the open areas of the housing and screwed it back on and it is quiet as a mouse now. My cat's water fountain is a lot louder than the Kegerator. So if you hear a noise like something is wrong don't panic, check the fan first.

One of my couplers came with a cracked handle and they're shipping a replacement already so that was also good. I just sent them a picture of the damage and it's on its way

My only small complaint is that when I submitted my order I wasn't notified that the Kegerator was backordered for about a week and a half so that almost threw off my plans. They sent me a notice that the order was received and shipment was pending but I ended up needing to call because I forgot to upgrade my regulator when I submitted the order and that is how I found out. Order to shipment was 16 days.

The shipping company worked out great and actually could have delivered a day sooner than BF had estimated so that was good as well but I had already arranged to be home on the day they told me it would come.

Very happy customer overall. I've already recommended the Kegerator and Beverage Factory to several friends.

Don't get the standard faucets

Sdring

If you choose this unit do not get the standard faucets. Both leaked out most of the 1st kegs on the floor when we weren't around. If you don't use the faucet for a day you must shoot water back through them to get them unstuck. I am running an Amber beer and a wheat beer and both stuck. Service dept. is recommending stainless faucets so I have order them.
Unit is great but shouldn't even offer it with standard faucet.

Cold as a mofo

This thing cranks out the cold. I put a glass of water in there to measure with my thermometer and it froze over while set at 34F. Looks good, cold beer, and good equipment. Negatives: colder than temperature setting (much better than the alternative) and the dual gauge regulator is backwards so the mount is a little awkward (big whoop) - that's all I have to gripe about. I nutted up and got this one vs the more inexpensive ones because of some reviews that others don't get cold enough and I'm very glad I did.

Question:

I have a k-309ss, my evaporator tray is full and leaks water on the floor. Do I need to empty this or is there a bigger problem here?

This is an indication that your units compressor is getting too cold then warning up creating the full tray. I would suggest you empty out the tray and try to determinant how often the tray is filling up. Are there extreme weather issues happening lately in your area that could be effecting the unit? This unit does not, but you can buy a tower cooler under our tower accessories page. Only commercial units come with tower coolers.
