Brewer's Best Lemon Grass delivers a twist to your brew with a hint of lemony zest and minor citric qualities. The Andropogon Citratus is considered to have its origins in Southern India and Malaysia. The name Cymbopogon is derived from the Greek words a "kymbea" (boat) and a "pogona" (beard), referring to the flower spike arrangement. This ingredient has been used in India for more than 2000 years for its carminative and anti-spasmodic properties. It can be added during the last few minutes of the boil or during secondary fermentation.
