Target Hop Pellets are typically used for their high alpha percentage, but this hop has gained some popularity for its aroma as well. A true dual purpose ingredient, UK Target hops provide a smooth, crisp bittering power as well as fragrant notes of spice, herbs like sage, floral and a hint of citrus. Target hops are typically used to add their intense aroma to English Ales and Lagers. Bred from Norther Brewer and English Golding stock, Target is an excellent bittering hop with a classic English character. Target hops were developed as a second generation selection from Northern Brewer and a male, English Golding seedling.
