The shank includes a forged brass lock nut, a black plastic flange, and is 3.5\" long measured from the end of the threading to the end where the faucet attaches. This nipple shank includes a flange on the front, a compression ring on the back and comes fitted with a tail piece for a beer line connection. The included compression ring secures the shank to the mounting surface.
