We ordered the dual wine friges on a Sat. They were delivered free of charge as promised in AZ the next Friday. Exceptional packing job. Units seemed in perfect condition. Instead of $350 for the "white glove delivery," we opted to hire local guys who moved the two 250 lb. units from the garage to the pantry for $100. After resting for 8 hours the units were turned on and set at 55 degrees. They have been running for a little over two weeks and keep between 54 and 58 degrees. I love the easy-gliding, long pull-out wooden shelves. Loading was a breeze. Diverse sized bottle fit. Units are very attractive. They are plugged in to surge protectors on separate circuits. One aspect of the advertising which is slightly misleading: individually, the units are not "dual zone". Each unit is a single zone and can only be set to one temp. Together they constitute a "dual zone" in that each unit can be set at a different temperature. Real dual zone units are bit more expensive. A Beverage Factory person hinted that the single zone units are more reliable. So I stuck with what I had once my misunderstanding was clarified.
Another minor point: the units themselves and the instruction manual clearly state that they are for "freestanding installation only". Beverage Factory advertising says they can be "built in". Fortunately, our installation was "nearly" freestanding. i.e. They were not enclosed in a cabinet. After discovering this discrepancy, We checked with the seller, described our installation, and were told that as long as we left a couple inches space on each side that it would be "OK". Beverage Factory should clarify that in their description. As to noise level, the units are operating very quietly. We have a circa 10 year old standard refrigerator in the pantry with the two wine units. They are by far quieter than the older frig.
